Below are samples of my work as a playwright. You can find full versions on the New Play Exchange website.

The Jones

This satire of a situation comedy is a story of a typical 1950s family in a typical 1950s suburb when a television arrives in their household. How far will the loving parents Stephen and Eve go to provide for their children and keep up with their neighbors? Will their children Junior and Missy get everything they deserve? Will Stephen crack under the pressure of providing for his family? Finally, will Eve become Queen of her castle for more than just one day?

Danny & Annie in Silicon Alley

In this not entirely suitable for an educational tour play Danny & Annie are young twins looking to start a new business to help fund their desire for new toys. They venture out into the world of Silicon Alley and learn the lessons of capitalism in today's gig economy as they join forces with other IT professionals and receive help from their angel (or devil?) investor Vinnie. Will they navigate this cutthroat world or will they be squashed like bugs? This somewhat musical adventure will surely entertain and educate any age!

Church

This 10 minute play revolves around a lesbian couple’s reaction to their preschool child’s desire to start attending church with his friends.

Bedfellows: A Play in Five Elections

Bedfellows is a bittersweet drama that looks at the lives of two men as it examines their relationship in moments of political change. It begins when they meet on election night 1992, next in the early fall of 2000. It then picks up in the early winter of 2008 and then again during the week before Thanksgiving 2016. It briefly concludes sometime in the not too distant future.
